This is a large, heavy pocket knife but with markings like "Homeland Security" any other knife design just would not be right. This is an extremely well made knife, excellent quality materials, very sturdy in every way. The blade swings open with a flick of the wrist and still does after almost two years of ownership. The blade is extremely sharp. The knife fits nicely into my hand and the thumb groves on the back of the blade add that extra grip. The belt clip is nice and strong, and it is screwed in with three screws which holds the clip well in place. The back side of the blade reads "First Production Run / Designed by / Stewart A. Taylor"Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Smith & Wesson CK8H Homeland Security Slanted Tanto Knife, Black" are high quality item.
