I'm an avid river rafter and Sambas wearer. I was shopping for a solid water shoe after every flip flop, sandle and aqua sock (even those fancy brands)had either flat out failed, or failed to impress me. I have snorkeled in them and they are great for roaming the reef too. They aren't too heavy, or clumsy for swimming in, and no mater what my water adventure I can stroll ashore and hit the road, boardwalk, or town without changing my shoes.
