The Spirit Fusion (Fusion Spirit?) is one of the best throwing knives I have yet encountered. I threw mine for the first time yesterday and it stuck seven out of the first ten times, and I'm a barely competent knife thrower. It has superb balance and a razor sharp edge. I can't decide if being able to screw it on to a broom handle to make a spear is ludicrous or inspired, but in the unlikely event that I actually need to defend myself by throwing a knife, I will want to do it with the Spirit Fusion.

11/30/12 - After I broke the plastic handle last week while throwing it, SOG's Warranty Department kindly sent me a replacement handle for free. I wish I could add another star for great customer service!

Dealing with the daily routine of keeping your body clean and your ostomy bag and body attachments dry is a chore. The claim the manufacturer makes that one can take a bath, swim etc., in my experience, is simply not true. I have used it for showering and it beats making a tent over your ostomy with tape and plastic but this item is still not water proof. For the price of this gadget, it should do a better job. The only reason that I am keeping it is to use it for showers.

Bianchi 59 Special Agent Hip Holster - Glock 20 (Black, Right Hand) Review

This is my third Bianchi Model 59 paddle holster. The other two are used with a Glock 23 and a Glock 30. As the three sidearms all function exactly the same, it only stands to reason that all of the holsters should behave exactly the same too.

I was searching for something with the simplicity of the Fobus paddle holster but in leather and with "cushioning" for the gun to keep the wear and tear of multiple holstering situations down. This fit the bill perfectly for me. The addition of the thumb strap for retention was just a nice extra.

As I'm a firm believer in training with what you use, the ability to run any of the sidearms with the identical holster just makes sense. If you've ever had to switch holsters (or even weapons with different safety and mag releases) in a "real" situation (both training and competition) you'll know what I'm trying to convey here. Consistency across platforms is important.

All in all, I'm very happy with these holsters.

Hoof Heal Conditioner for Horse, Size: 1 GALLON Review

This is a fairly thin liquid unlike others I've used. It soaks into the hoof quickly, unlike some that are thick and seem to sit on the surface. This product reminds me of "Trail-Eze" hoof dressing which is apparently no longer on the market.

I can't really say whether this has "healed" my horse's hoofs -- I haven't had him too long, and he had no apparent hoof problems when I got him. However, I had his shoes pulled a 7 weeks ago, and his hooves are staying in remarkably good shape -- no chipping or cracking.

I bought this product based on reviews on the Dover Saddlery web site where users all raved about it. Highly recommended.

Royce Medical Equalizer Premium Air Walker - X Large AW1000 Review

I am a "Two Timer" as well. The first time I wore one was in October 2002 due to a severely sprained (right) ankle. The second was in April 2009 because of PF/Tendinitis in my (right) foot. Both times I used this boot I wore it for 3 weeks, and both times experienced the same results. Pain in foot/ankle diminished very quickly. However, it can be "clunky" as hell to drive in, but it's comfortable as hell to walk in! If your Doc gives you "the boot", make sure it's this one!
