So I bought this rack on amazon in 2012 and after 10 months of use it broke. I had bent the mounting piece originally to make it fit my bicycle(it eventually fatigued where I bent it). It was due partially to my own stupidity and partially to the lack of clarity that came with the products information about the racks ability to adjust to different sized bikes by removing the spacers on the bottom of the rack where it attaches to the wheel axle. Anyway I emailed the company and they promptly sent me a new rack. Other then the lack of clarity in the product information everything about the rack has been excellent. Solid but light, easily removed but very secure while mounted. It might be a bit more expensive then most racks but the excellent customer service and the ease of use and high quality construction really makes this rack worth it.
