I bought this bar a couple of years ago and installed it on my mountain bike. I wanted a large bag for extra storage because of the rides I would take with my young daughter who would either ride in a child seat on the back of my bike or a bike trailer that I pulled around.

The bag is really great. Lots of room, the side pockets work very nice and the bottle holder is a great convenience. The bag is well built and installed very easily. As a matter of fact I liked this bag so much that I later bought Axiom rear pannier bags.

All that said, my only complaint, if that is what you want to call it, is the fact that the back of the bag provides the support as it hangs from the handlebars. There is only a thin sheet of plastic or something sandwiched between the material of the bag that provides the strength and rigidity for the bag to hang on. Despite the bags large capacity, you really don't want to put a lot of weight in the bag because it doesn't take very long before the plastic begins to relent to the weight of the the cargo. As I have stated, I bought my bag a few years ago so maybe Axiom has made some design improvements, but I really wish that plastic sheet would have been thicker and sturdier to accommodate a heavier load over a greater time span. I have thought about trying to make that change myself but since I bought the pannier bags I have not used this handlebar bag all that much.

It is a great bag, that I would recommend. Just know that weight and a constant load my affect the longevity and life of the bag if Axiom has not stiffened that back panel.
