I got this holster for my Ruger GP100 6-inch barrel with Aimpoint Micro T1 Red Dot. The fit is EXTREMELY tight even after removing the two retention adjustment screws. If your gun has a blued finish, it will certainly scratch. Thankfully mine is the stainless version. I WILL NOT recommend this product to competitive shooters because it is too tight and re-holstering the gun is very difficult. If you're just looking to have fun in the range then this should be okay.
