I've struggled with many different hydration packs over the years and have never found one that is right. Prior to purchasing the Nathan Speed 2, I was using the Fuel Belt Endurance 4 Bottle Fuel Belt, which was a pain because the bottles sloshed around and the belt wasn't a true fit. Additionally, it required the use of two hands to remove a bottle. That might not sound like a big deal, but the sloshing (the bottles bouncing around) can be incredibly annoying on a 1 mile run, much less after 14. And using two hands to grab a water bottle that is behind your back throws your balance off and tires you out much more quickly. A good analogy would be to say it was like stopping and doing a jumping jack every half mile. While a single jumping jack is no big deal, any endurance runner realizes that a change in your natural running motion after such a long distance will really throw you off.

The Nathan Speed 2 is designed to be worn so that the bottles are on the front of the belt (although you can wear it reversed with no problems). It holds two 10 oz flasks for a total of 20 oz of water. The front pouch has ample room for cell phone, energy gels, keys, etc. Additionally, the pouch is compartmentalized, so you can put your sticky energy gel trash in one pocket and your cell phone in the other. There's also a clip on the inside pouch so you can secure your key ring. While it's very unlikely anything will come out of the velcro-secured pouch, this gives added peace of mind for those who may be doing rigorous trail running or wading through a stream for some reason (I am always checking my keys to make sure they haven't fallen out).

As to the flasks, it would be nice if they could carry more water, but 20oz is usually enough to get me through a 13 mile run. If you're looking for more, try the Nathan Speed 4 Waist Pack with Four 10-Ounce Nutrition Flasks. The flask holsters are made of molded plastic, which means they are strong and don't move. They sit slightly away from my hips, so I don't have to deal with them banging against my hips and thighs the entire run. The flasks fit securely in the holsters, so no additional securing is needed. With my old Fuel Belt I had to use two hands to remove a flask, one to remove the elastic band holding the flask in place, and the other to take out the flask. The Nathan holster is just tight enough where the flask will not come out accidentally, but isn't too tight to slide right into the holster. The lip of the flask is easy to open with your mouth. Unlike the Fuel Belt, which I had to pull open with my teeth, the Nathan lip easily opens up with gentle pressure from my lips, and closes just as easily to form a tight seal.

The belt is one of the best parts about this product. It is stretchable elastic, which is a must for me after trying to use nylon belts with clips. The velcro forms a strong connection, and the belt fits snugly against my hips. I've found the belt is more comfortable if I wear it very low on my hips, right over the hip flexor muscle. This may seem weird at first, but I suggest anyone to try it for a couple miles and see what you think. The belt will not ride up easily, and it will not slide down your legs either. Try to put it as low as possible, and right on top of your butt. Lastly, the belt is made of breathable moisture-wicking material, so it will not hold sweat easily and is easy to clean. A great product.

Update - January 2012 - I've tested several other water belts since writing this review, not because I have problems with it, but just to see if anything better has come out since. The Nathan Speed 2 is still the best in my opinion. Also, I have changed my running form so that I lean forward now when I run, which makes the water bottles on the front a much better option for me.

I bought these shoes to alleviate pain in my feet. I'd worn Chaco sandals all summer long and was headed north to winter. My winter shoes caused my feet to ache; the balls of my feet felt bruised. I needed a jack-of-all-trades shoe that wasn't too bulky but also had enough cushioning. I'm a natural heel-striker and I have some minor scar tissue adhesions on my left knee. These shoes have been amazing, great for sprints, lifting, or just everyday use. Very comfortable, good fit, good breathe.

I love the style of these shoes, and I've owned them before. But they've changed the material, and now they squeak really loudly. You might not think it's a big deal, but this video shows just how squeaky they are. The Sambas in this video were purchased in March 2013, and were worn for over 20 miles of walking before filming this video.

I've read tips from other reviewers who were able to reduce the squeaking using lotion or vaseline on the tongue (the primary target). I'll try this, but should that really be necessary? I was hoping the squeaking would go away after a break-in period, but no such luck.

This is a great shirt for cold weather. I wear it under several different shirts and sweaters I have. It seems to be made to wear tight and so I purchased a size: large. I usually wear a medium. I wanted room but did not get it. It is snug but that is okay as I wear it under clothing. If I were slimmer I could probably wear it alone but if you purchase this shirt I would get one size bigger for comfort.
I really like the "grip" that goes around the inside bottom. No matter if you bend or sit the bottom of the shirt stays put! The shirt is made well and I would probably buy others in other colors.

I bought these shoes because it is closing in on the rainy season in Oregon and walking my dog Khloe takes me off of the sidewalk and into the bushes as she thinks that she is a hunter. These shoes are nice enough looking for and comfortable for daily wear. I wear a size 11 medium and it is accurate in size. My only complaint, which seems to be in all new high ankle support shoes that I own is that my left ankle rubs against the side even double socked. It seems to get less as the shoe is breaking in, but it it still there after a week. It is not severe, but it is noticeable, especially after an hour walk. I presume that I will not notice it in a month. The shoe walks straight with very little side give which means that it won't cause me to twist my ankle when stepping on rocks. It has only rained once since I got them but they gave good non slip support, even in the wet grass which surprised me. I definitely recommend these shoes, next Spring will be the true tale after a full Fall and Winter usage.

This has been a rather dry season here but I have noticed that water is starting to seep through the seams in puddles now as the shoes wear and probably would not recommend them now. Therefor I have lowered my rating on the shoes. I still think they would be fine if I use a rubber sealant around the seams, but that sould have been done at the factory

Leo Leo Torso Toner Men's Shaper - Black, L Review

This is exactly what I was looking for. In this review, I will offer you a full product review, as well as some tips on how to actually get this thing on. I am a size 18 (big) dress shirt (according to JC Penney size chart), I wear a an XL - XXL t shirt. Honestly, an XL fits me, but my man boobs make me feel uncomfortable in just an XL...so I usually go with the 'bed sheet' size. I have been wearing Under Armor, and similar products for 9 years to try and keep my jiggle from jiggling, and my man boobs from making me over-self-conscious. I am 5'10 and 275 lbs (as a reference point), and I am built pretty proportionally with a 53" chest (using a measuring tape) -- man boobies and all.

This is the only product that literally reduces my shirt size by 1 on the t shirts, and 1.5 on the dress shirts. My body still looks large, but naturally toned and not jiggly. It is ultra comfortable (i.e. zipper does not dig into my skin, the interior 'latches' do not poke me funny, and the quality of the material is very high. This will be infinitely more durable than Under Armor is. Under Armor is too thin, and stretches out over time. This is (seemingly) made of a much denser, and thicker material. It is not scratchy, or uncomfortable at all though. That I am shocked with. I look great in this...even though right now I don't REALLY look great. This will at least help me feel decent about my body while I lose weight.

As for the sizing issue many people have been talking about. You have to know how to put this on, or you will think it is WAY too small. When I first tried it on, I unzipped it, unclasped it, and put it on. I then tried to re-clasp it (which was disappointingly hard), and then tried zipping it...which was literally impossible. I tried laying on the bed, jumping up and down, sucking in my fat, stuffing my fat in the side, etc. Tried everything...and it didn't work. I was beginning to think that every review was right about the sizing being ridiculously wrong. Then I thought outside the box...

I tried clasping it, zipping it, and then pulling it over my head. It was extremely difficult to do at first, but the more I have done it, the easier it has gotten and there is a method to it. If you roll up the body portion all the way to the neck line, slip it over your head, pop in your arms, and then unroll it down your body, it works infinitely better. It is still a very (very) snug fit, but it is not uncomfortable. It does not restrict my breathing or my movement in anyway. It is very tight...skin tight....but that is exactly how it is supposed to be folks! I can't really offer any more praise for this product, or any additional help. I have laid it out pretty simple. If you are looking to make yourself look MUCH thinner, much more toned, and feel much better about yourself while you work off the extra weight. This is (without a doubt) the best thing money can buy. It is awesome. Please ask any questions you want, and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.

**NEXT DAY UPDATE**

So, I wore this for a full day, and I have some further information regarding the product. I am definitely not reducing it from 5 stars because it is fantastic, though there are some things I wanted all of you to be aware of. First, after an entire day of use, there were some noticeable imprints on my skin from the zipper, and some discomfort on my skin. So, I decided to go ahead and use a bunch of my old and stretched out under armors underneath the vest. So far, it is one million times better. Much, much more comfortable...and less uncomfortable marks. Another thing, if you wear t shirts with it, there is a slight protrusion in your chest where the zipper is. It is the biggest disappointment of the vest, but it is not deal breaker for me. I have found that any t shirts with lettering or a design....or thicker t shirts do not show the protrusion that badly. Anything that is really clingy or really thin tend to show it a little more. So, this is certainly not as amazing as I once had thought; but the results are still the same and they are still very impressive. I was able to fit into one of my favorite dress shirts again, and my man boobs and rolls were not as embarrassing.

** UPDATE 8/13/13 **

So I have had this for 3.5 months now, and I am still incredibly pleased with it. Yes, it has stretched-out a little over time, but, I have also lost 25 lbs since I first started wearing it...so it might not be getting stretched-out as much as I am thinking. Regardless, it still keeps all the 'jiggle' firm, and I am still fitting in shirts a size smaller than I am. Without this, I can wear 18.0 dress shirts (Van Heusen) rather uncomfortably, but they fit. With it on, I can wear 17.5 - 17 rather comfortably. The biggest issue I have with it, is the portion of it that goes over the shoulders has stretched out a little (it is like Underarmor material), and so I typically have to pull the whole vest down a little further for the shoulder straps to work properly. I have thought of cutting them and sewing them, but am afraid about the ruining the fabric and being unable to sew it back up adequately.
