I picked two of these up to add to my wife and my BOB's. Got on ultra discounted sale at $27 (each) and free shipping so I figured if they turned out not-so-good, I could give them to the boys for camping. Got them in and was impressed overall.

Keeping in mind that the lighter you go with a bag, the more fragile it is going to tend to be (excluding expensive exotic material bags), this bag is actually pretty decent. Tried out at 33 degrees and was very toasty. Compresses well and the ~4 pound weight makes it quite nice for hauling about on the pack. Combine it will a light REI self-inflating ground pad (also light) and it is comfortable, and well-insulated from the ground. Under 10# strapped to the bottom (or top if you like that) of your pack for both items.

Cinchup head cover is nice and you do have a bit of room to move about inside. More so than some mummy bags, much less than a traditional bag.

If you can get at a high discount and your not camping in crazy cold places, this is a great, affordable, fairly light bag.

Reusch Kevlar Goalkeeper Pant (Medium, Black) Review

I purchased a pair for my 14 yr old son (adult small) and another pair for myself (adult med). The kevlar knee pad material seems extremely durable (wraps around the knee nicely) and the foam hip pads are good sized and fairly thick. I play outdoor & indoor (old man's league) and wore a huge hole in my previous Reusch pants from sliding - especially on the artificial turf.

My only problem is that the foam hip pads are not completely sewn into place and tend to fall out in the washing machine. I think they should be completely sewn in. The other comment is that the pants seem about 1/2 size too big. I comfortably wore an older pair of medium Reusch keeper pants but these mediums feel a litte baggy. I've tried my son's adult small pants and could probably wear them but those seem a little too small. Maybe I'm shrinking!

Anyway, 2 minor issues but a great pair of pants. I LOVE the built in padding and would definitely recommend them and buy them again.
