I wasn't real thrilled at the idea of having to wear these, but I have to say that this particular style is cotton, so breathable, and they are comfortable. In addition to those good points, they really have reduced the swelling and pain in my feet and lower legs. I just had another massive DVT, and the only comfortable position for that leg has been up.
