Bianchi 59 Special Agent Hip Holster - Glock 20 (Black, Right Hand) Review

This is my third Bianchi Model 59 paddle holster. The other two are used with a Glock 23 and a Glock 30. As the three sidearms all function exactly the same, it only stands to reason that all of the holsters should behave exactly the same too.

I was searching for something with the simplicity of the Fobus paddle holster but in leather and with "cushioning" for the gun to keep the wear and tear of multiple holstering situations down. This fit the bill perfectly for me. The addition of the thumb strap for retention was just a nice extra.

As I'm a firm believer in training with what you use, the ability to run any of the sidearms with the identical holster just makes sense. If you've ever had to switch holsters (or even weapons with different safety and mag releases) in a "real" situation (both training and competition) you'll know what I'm trying to convey here. Consistency across platforms is important.

All in all, I'm very happy with these holsters.
