My daughter has very wide feet, a EE. So it's hard to find shoes, sneakers to fit. Now that she is older, almost 11, she wears a woman's sz 6/12-7 wide or xwide. I found out that Youth Shoes/sneakers were basically the same sz & cost less. Many reviews are from WOMEN buying the YOUTH sz & saving $$! So I gave these a shot. They only came in "wide" not xtra wide so I was worried but trust me- they ARE wide! These are a very light flexible shoe. You can easily bend these in 1/2 or into a ball they flex so much! My daughter really likes them, I know this because she WEARS them, lol ! I did notice that the quality of THESE is not the same as her women's New Bal, though I paid $140+ for those. When I bought these they were on sale from Amazon I guess, because the price has gone way up in only a months time? I paid around $25. For that price, they are well worth it. I was lucky enough to buy 2 pairs , 1/2 size bigger in case 1 didn't fit, but when I noticed the price JUMP, I decided to KEEP the 2nd pr as well ! It's a tad big but by summer it should fit fine! Well worth the $$ I spent but I wouldn't purchase these at the price the are NOW... So bear in mind that these are NOT the SAME quality NB that you would get if you spent $100, but your not spending that much- also these are more for warm climates, summer shoes. They are light & vented holes throughout , great for spring/summer but a bit cold for winter...
