There's nothing special visually about these cross-trainers from Reebok but they are comfortable and they get the job done. I think they perform better on side-to-side and front-to-back movement than jumping up and down but nevertheless they do work well overall.

My main complaints are that there are no heel tabs on the back of the shoe and the shoestrings could have been an inch longer. On the plus side they open nicely so you can get your feet in easily (thus negating the need for heel tabs) and they are lightweight. The break-in time is about a week to two weeks or 3-6 workout sessions.

With cross-trainers becoming harder and harder to find at the $70 price point, I find these shoes to be an excellent value. I use them for aerobics (step, R.I.P.P.E.D. and core conditioning) 3 times a week. I visited Foot Locker, Champs, Penny's, Macy's and the Sports Authority and came up short looking for a pair of Reebok cross-trainers in the $70 range. Later, I found that Sears carries this model for about $65 but they do not have it in the two-tone black or red and black style.

One more point concerning these shoes: you may need to re-string them to go UNDER instead of over so you can tighten them better and easier. I changed the way they were strung from about the middle of the tongue so I can tighten them easier. I also use heel inserts in the shoes and they tolerate them just fine. I am happy with this purchase and would buy these shoes again. They work for me, they look pretty good (considering they're just one color) and they have the support I need.

They are replacing my Reebok DMX Shear cross-trainers which I absolutely loved but are now impossible to find in my size (10 and-a-half).
