Love everything about this shoe except the pink...wish they would make one that is just black. But, with regard to the actual shoe, it is great. For those of you used to wearing any of Merrell's other "barefoot" shoes...this is MUCH more minimalist. So, be warned. If you are like me, then this is a good thing. You can feel everything underfoot, every pebble on the sidewalk, etc. but they provide enough protection if you watch where you are going and have a good midfoot strike. Yet to try them on the trail, but I assume they will probably work fine. Only purchase these if you truly want a barefoot feeling while running, because that is what these are. There is no support in the shoe at all. It is very breathable, I can feel the air through the shoe when I am running.

Anyway, personally, I love this shoe - If it came in just black I would order three more pair, for every day wear, golf, hiking, running, everything.
